Every night, when we lay down our heads and sleep, we dream. And every following morning we quickly forget the places we visited, the dialogues we held, the adventures lived in dreams. This rich universe to where the mind travels during sleep hides an immeasurable potential to the understanding of human condition. The exploration of this vast universe is the mission of this project. I’ll here propose a philosophical dissertation on our relation to dreams, bringing concepts from the Jungian psychology, from the mythological tradition elucidated by Joseph Campbell and the millenary teachings of the Theosophy, putting it all together in an attempt to reveal unexplored fields of the dream life. The execution of the photographs that consist the practical part of the project required the work of several professionals in advertising, design, fashion and many others. Through the elaborated images, the I try to construct a narrative about the character’s journey of self-discovery motivated by the search of equilibrium with the exterior world.

Meu projeto de graduação final consistiu neste projeto, que vai além da elaboração de imagens. Abaixo o seu resumo:
Todas as noite sonhamos, para em seguida, todas as manhãs, rapidamente esquecermos os lugares visitados, os diálogos travados e as aventuras vividas em sonho. Este rico universo para o qual viaja a mente durante o sono possui imensurável potencial para a compreensão da condição humana. A exploração deste potencial é a missão deste projeto, que propõe uma reflexão filosófica sobre nossa relação com os sonhos. Para tamanha tarefa, faremos uma viagem pela psicologia junguiana, pelos mitos e pelos ensinamentos milenares contidos na Teosofia e nas sabedorias orientais, unindo as três áreas de pensamento em uma tentativa coesa de esclarecimento sobre os mistérios que guardam nossa vida onírica. Através das imagens elaboradas, eu procuro construir uma narrativa sobre uma jornada de auto-conhecimento, motivada pela busca do equilíbrio entre o mundo interior, a mente, o real, e o mundo exterior, o físico, a ilusão.
