Paramount Theatre; Austin Texas

    Newer Older

I recently did some additional photography for the Paramount Theatre in Austin Texas. I love this place! This is actually an HDR panorama to try and capture as much of the theatre a possible from the front center stage position.

      nice work dear...
did u use a wide angle lens or stitch images together?

    3. Visualist Images 21 months ago | reply

      Thank you!
Swaroop; Both actually. It was shot as multiple images with my 14mm lens and then stitched together. Normally, I would have been able to get the whole room with the 14-24 by just backing up a bit. However, the theatre had a large projection screen in place for a summer film series which forced me to the front of the stage.

Beautiful shot! I saw Paco de Lucia in this theatre back in 1982.

Hi, im an Admin for `Howards Gallery` and would be very honoured if you would consider posting your stunning photo into the Gallery.
This Gallery is so different than anything flickr has done before, as it is an easy place to belong to and participate, yet you have to have exemplary work to be invited here, and it is my opinion that this wonderful piece here belongs with us ……. I hope you will post this picture of yours with pride into the Gallery..…and we look forward to seeing more of your talent in the future......Kind regards..Caz (A)
