Palms - Ferrotype

Palms - Ferrotype by Phil Nesmith.
© 2007 Phillip Nesmith - Palm trees and their reflections on calm water hide the true nature of this image. This is a ferrotype of a man-made lakes that surrounds one of Sadam's massive, unfinished palaces at what is now/or was known as Camp Slayer in south west Baghdad Iraq.

This is one of a batch of new ferrotypes I have been working on for the H&F Fine Arts Gallery show on August 10th. I hope that no matter where you may live, you will think about making the time to visit the opening of the show on August 10th. For details you can check the News section of the site listed below, or for blow-by-blow updates register in the Guest Book and leave an email address for the mailing list.

To see more new ferrotypes go here and visit the "My Iraq" gallery.

ALSO......please bookmark my new blog. You can get to it from the link that you just passed, or you can just look for the "BLOG" option at the upper right of the homepage of my site.
