Too Many Apostrophe's

Too Many Apostrophe's

This begs the question, why didn't the proud owner of this presumably real truck use an apostrophe in "trucks"? BTW, this means my VW Golf TDI is a real car. I was worried, but no more.

City Moose-7196

City Moose-7196

This young cow came into my front yard to graze on the birch tree, then ambled across the street for some more as seen here. This is not so uncommon a sight in Anchorage. Later in the year we'll see cows with a calf or two fattening up for their first winter, if they survive the traffic.

Come Fly The Deadly Skies With Me; or, is it, When You Fly With Me, You ARE Flying The Deadly Skies?

Come Fly The Deadly Skies With Me; or, is it, When You Fly With Me, You ARE Flying The Deadly Skies?

I am now officially almost famous.

My life-long quest for celebrity; it's finally paying off! It might be time now to find an agent, publicist and personal assistant; later the entourage, hangers-on and lackeys.

The three-part (1 hour each) feature "Wing Men of Alaska" (yes, really... I know; and there are at least two women Wing Men featured) premiers January 10, 2010.

And yes, I've emailed the photographer/producer about the caption. It's obviously not a King Air. Or, at least I think it's obvious.

The skies are indeed deadly. That's why they portray us as the daring-do hero aviators that we, I humbly submit, are. (...not, thank goodness, or the skies really would be "deadly" instead of just hazardous)
