Als u romantisch wil cocktailen moet u hier zijn; bovendien liggen de prijzen van de drankjes hier rond het normale hotelbar-niveau. Je kunt er vanaf 17.00 uur terecht. Mooi, want dan maakt u de zonsondergang tussen 17.30 en 18.00 uur mee, als de miljarden lichtjes van Bangkok gaan fonkelen -een fascinerende aanblik. Although it is one of Asia's most important cities economically, the urban pace of Bangkok is somewhat relaxed, as the city offers enormous amounts of getaway locations. Most residents tend to stress over the amount of traffic in the city. Peak hours are between 6:30 am to 9:30 am and 4:30pm to 8:00 at night on weekdays, with a general state of traffic on Monday morning and Friday night. Photo taken during rush hours. Het voordeel van deze veranderingen is wel dat de verkeerschaos enigszins is verlicht. Was de stad vroeger één grote file, nu beweegt het verkeer er langzaam door. Het rijden in een auto geeft de bewoners van Bangkok aanzien. Wie niet met zijn auto naar het werk komt, verdient blijkbaar niet genoeg, in de gedachten van de Thai. Er is in Bangkok echter een zeer behoorlijk stelsel van openbaar vervoer, los van de verhoogde wegen en de Skytrain. Er is een uitgebreid busnet, over het water van de Chao Phraya-rivier is een prima express boat service en taxi's zijn er goedkoop en in overvloed aanwezig. Foto genomen tijdens spitsuur. De fel gekleurde auto's zijn taxi's.
