    Right. I've been in contact with the 12th Ave proponents and the current proposed route is slightly different from the one shown here.

    I'd love to see the streetcar connect that extra block to king street station. I'm still confused why a pike/pine streetcar route doesn't seem to get any consideration. From what I've heard, the streetcars could handle the grade, and this would be the most direct route to downtown, link, and the first avenue and South lake union (and future ballard/fremont) streetcars without requiring a transfer to link.

    pike/pine would also be much better for first hill employees living in belltown or lower queen anne once the first ave streetcar is complete.
