I was a metal head (still am) - Guns N' Roses and Metallica are still my two favorite bands. Most of these patches were bought while I was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany (1986-1989) ....

The front of the jacket wasn't so spectacular...

The badge is a United States Army Drill Instructor badge - I had just finished 4 years of active duty in the Army and somehow thought it would be funny to wear this .... whiskey tango foxtrot, over?
