Some shots of the 'supermoon' - The moon hasn't been this close to Earth since 1993. When the moon is so close to Earth (perigee) as compared to when it is at its farthest from Earth (apogee), it is said to be about 14% larger and about 30% brighter than usual.

Caught this one from a boat. There was a whole flock of seagulls following the boat trying to catch some tidbits of food that people were throwing at them.

Caught this in a small muddy pond at the resort i was staying in at Karwar, India. I had to wait patiently in knee deep water a couple of feet away (because i shot this with a 50 mm prime lens) from this piece of wood. After a long wait, this guy became comfortable enough to come and sit here without worrying about me.

These seagulls followed our boat for almost 45 minutes, trying to catch food being thrown at them. Some of them were very sharp. They knew just when to stop and catch the food. Practice makes perfect as they say... and these guys practice several times a day.
