I'm a guy who doesn't know a thing about
knitting. I don't care about knitting. But
this picture stopped me in my tracks and I
said, "Hey, that's a really nice
sweater!" If you can do that to me, you
did a great job with your needles ... and
your camera.
All dk-weight yarns should be fine. DK-weight
yarns usually have a label which says that
the gauge is 22 sts / 4" or 10 cm. Wool and merino wool are great, I wouldn't
use pure cotton though.

Can you suggest some other yarns which can be used for this sweater? I'm having troubles finding the Jaeger Extra Fine Merino.
