      Can you suggest some other yarns which can be used for this sweater? I'm having troubles finding the Jaeger Extra Fine Merino.

      All dk-weight yarns should be fine. DK-weight yarns usually have a label which says that the gauge is 22 sts / 4" or 10 cm.
      Wool and merino wool are great, I wouldn't use pure cotton though.
