Moulin Rouge

The name suits the place quite beautifully. The treasure is the view of the beautiful but perpetually sad damsel. The slightly desaturated view of the picture rolls me back in time and random pages of memory just pops in, quickly making way for another.

It is kind of the ideal setup to feel nostalgic. A little aloof from noisy, bursting-with-life city separated by cold cold pacific (well strictly speaking the bay sea water may have considerable differences wrt the pacific) and to add to the effect the constant unceasing sea breeze and my whim to feel a little sad for all that is left behind.

I miss you India, family and friends.
