Raccoon feeding on native blackberries

That's a native blackberry in its hands... not a Himalayan invasive!

in the Albert Kelly Creek Restoration in Portland Oregon. Click here to see more photos of the raccoon and restoration. After four years of work, stumbling upon this raccoon feeding on native blackberries (in an area that was once covered by invasive plants) has been one of the greatest rewards.
