In Chinese philosophy, squares and circles are forms of space, and were the symbols of space and time for our ancestors. With the orientation of the heaven and earth and the harmony of the moving air between yin and yang, it creates "Round Heaven and Square Earth."

In western aesthetics, the height of a well-proportioned man is equal to the length of his outstretched arms and they create a square that encloses the human body, while the hands and feet touch the circumference of a circle with the navel as the center. This is what “Golden Ratio” is.
The descriptions above are based on the form of a square and a circle, which develop different cultural appearances. The two shapes integrate to become a form and create a concept.

We can see the human form in poster, it is Leonardo da Vinci’s famous work “Vitruvian Man”, an example of “Golden Ratio,” with the left hand holding the ruler and the right hand holding the compasses. Both of them signify the concept of the Chinese Square and Circle, which enrich millions of beings in the world.
It is filled with meaningful forms interlaced and formed by squares and circles in the universe with millions of beings. These rather meaningful forms cover widely on the image, and fluid to each other to represent the meaningful forms of the past and the future.

My “Grid System”in the poster is made according to “Golden Ratio” representing the meaning of the Chinese “Round Heaven and Square Earth” and its meaningful forms is created with the mixture of the concepts of “Round Heaven and Square Earth” and “Golden Ratio.”

中國哲學認為方圓是種空間形式，是先民對空間、時間概念的表徵，
地方天圓、天地定位，蘊含陰陽氣動和諧之意。

西方美學觀中人體高度與雙臂展開長度相同，且恰好被一個正方形包圍起來，亦可碰到肚臍為圓心所展開的圓周，是為黃金比例。

上述都是從方圓基礎的形發展東西不同文化樣貌，兩個形交融成為造型，衍生出概念。

畫面中的人形是Leonardo da Vinci的作品Vitruvian Man所呈現的黃金比形象，左右手持著角尺與圓規，代表著中國的方圓概念，這些方圓形象豐富了萬物...

在萬物照應的宇宙中，充滿著方圓交融生成具有意義的造型，
這些極具義涵的造型廣佈著畫面，交互流動，是體現過去及未來的圖騰。

依造黃金比例製作的格線排版，整體表達出意涵是中國天圓地方說，
圖案則揉合天圓地方與黃金比概念生成。
