Very cool capture and treatment. One minor critique - I find the bit on the left a little distracting, would like this even more if that was cropped or cloned out.

Fantastic! You had a much better position at the War Memorial than I did. I managed to snap a few shots while standing as high on my toes as I could to avoid all the heads... Next year I will arrive much earlier.

Nice job cloning it out. I never know how people will respond to a critique of their work, some people can be sensitive about it. Plus, I'm not the greatest photographer or post processor in the world, either. So, I'm usually a bit hesitant to do so. Thanks for being open to it.

Nice timing! Looking at the thumbnail you might think it was selective colouring. It's amazing when you find something colourful to shoot during the autumn or winter that lights up (no pun intended) like this against nature that has lost all colour awaiting spring.
That's why I like to walk around the harbour in winter and take pics of supply ships - they really light up with their intense colours.
