Wright even designed this giant red kettle for warming up cider in the fireplace. Unfortunately, the kettle was so thick that it would take 10 hours just to heat it up. Eventually, it just became a conversation piece.
It's fun when the tour guide swings it around from the fireplace to the entertaining area and vice versa.
Another interesting thing about the fireplace is that the boulders on the site were undisturbed. It's not shown on this picture clearly, but the floor was uneven to make room for the natural boulders that were on the site.
