Happy New Year 2012!

Happy New Year 2012!

Alright, I admit it, I cheated and used an image from the 2011 4th of July fireworks display over the Cumberland River but it'll have to do (no fireworks here on New Year's!)... I certainly hope everyone has an excellent (and safe!) New Year's celebration and that next year is better than ever. My resolution? To make it around to everyone's photostream and catch up! ;)

Happy Holidays 2011

Happy Holidays 2011

I hope everyone has safe and happy holidays this year! I believe I've already received my most valued gift of the year, that being all of those here that have offered inspiration through their work and thus (however unbeknownst to them) helped me refine mine. Thank you!

I have had the crud for the past week but finally feeling human again and shooting a little bit... I stopped off on the way home this evening to shoot some of the lights around Public Square in downtown Clarksville at dusk (12-19-2011).

12-24-2011: I originally posted this on the 19th and intended on having something additional today (Christmas Eve) but it simply hasn't worked out that way, thus my rare "upload time adjustment"... I certainly hope every one of you has the best of holidays! Forgive me if I haven't visited your stream recently for it's been crazy busy lately... I wish you all the best - Merry Christmas! :-)

Serenity

Lake Taal, Ft. Campbell (Mongtomery County, Tennessee) back on the evening of 12-1-2011. I think this just about finishes up those that I'll post from this particular shoot. ;-)

Canadian visitors...

Canadian visitors...

I stopped again at Lake Taal (Ft. Campbell, on the Montgomery County, Tennessee side of the post) this past Thursday evening and captured these visiting Canadian geese as dusk approached. I am only assuming they're visiting, for I've not heard them honking on most of my visits to this lake and I'm pretty sure the flock of ducks here are the only permanent residents.

Frozen greens...

Frozen greens...

Ripples frozen in place in a puddle at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky (12-1-2011). Ice patterns always seem to fascinate me for some reason...
