Alienation (aka Modern Times)

I wasn't entirely sure about uploading this as it could just be seen as a bad photo of a jet engine from an aeroplane window - and little more.

There is nonetheless something about the scene that exemplifies the disquiet I feel when technology awes us, consumes us and in sweeping us away with the heady excitement of the opportunities it offers, leaves us somewhat distanced from those very visceral sensations and emotions that make us human.
