To avoid such cable mess, I use patchsee.com
patch cords. Easy to find the other extremity
with a light indicator, and you keep your
rack clean.

It grew that way over the years, there are
over 400 patches hanging around.
In the new Milan offices we'll be careful
to avoid this chaos, but this rack is
condemned. ;-)
