Splitting firewood is a mountain of a task.Cold and clear today. I had the day off so finished splitting and stacking firewood. Uploaded on Dec 30, 2009 Red oak borer?This larvae (1.7 cm.) was under the bark. It may be Red Oak Borer, Enaphalodes rufulus. Quite a pest in some regions.
