Well it figures you have great taste, you have a mac, a PC would be just plain ugly.

Thanks Carlos. I've had a Mac since I was 19! My university only used to have Macs, so that's what I learned on. I love them! My boyfriend will soon be a convert. He, he.

This should be an apple ad :)

    4. Veronika Lake 90 months ago | reply

Thanks J Diggity. It would make a pretty good apple ad, except for the fact that this particular iBook fell off this counter and hit the floor, so wouldn't be acceptable! If you look closely, you can see that the lid and screen are no longer straight... The laptop has now been upgraded. Photos to come.

Oh, dear GOD! That's too bad! But at least you had an excuse to upgrade now :) if my powerbook ever fell like that I'd flip out.

A pretty place to work and enjoy

Thanks peterbox. This room has been completely redecorated. Once spring rolls around and there is some light on the north side of the house, I will have to post some updated photos.

good god, I love this chair. But it's sooooo expensive... what a pitty. You have a great interior.

How is the chair holding up? I'm so tempted to buy one but they're so $$$! Which store in Calgary did you pickup this chair?

    10. Veronika Lake 73 months ago | reply

It's holding up nicely. We've had it three years and it's as good as new. The place we picked it up is Kit Interior Objects.

you have so many pieces that i want.

i really covet the eames management chair. i really like the way the mesh version sits, but this version has the looks (and is pretty damn comfy too)

i need to pull the trigger on this, but saarinen is calling out for my dining room.

    12. Veronika Lake 68 months ago | reply

You should do it eight double!

I have been learning about classic chairs for my interior design degree and I really want to eventually purchase some, not yet though. I wish. Anyway, is it comfortable? I am sure it is since it is classic, but ya know I just gotta ask. :) Love the shot btw.

Thanks Michelle7588! This particular chair is actually very comfortable. It's really a great desk chair.

I love it. Is that an old "Ice"book? Beautiful.

    19. Veronika Lake 43 months ago | reply

Ben O: Is that what they were called? Sadly, this little iBook is no more. I dropped it on the floor and it has now been replaced with a MacBook.

I have an iBook G4, which I love and still use all the time, but I believe that this is the model that came out just before that which had a more translucent keyboard and was thus commonly referred to as the "Icebook" because of the really cool looking clearish keys.

I could be wrong, but from the angle it sure looks like it.

Nice upgrade on the Macbook. I would love a new Macbook, but the iBook is still humming along and really hasn't run up against too many problems - other than not supporting Snow Leapord.
