On the left, the summit of the Torres del Paine hike. I didn't take any other photos during this 6 hour hike because we were hiking in the middle of a blizzard, with zero visibility and 50km per hour blowing winds - and it was freezing cold. It took all my powers of concentration to avoid slipping or getting blown off the mountain. On the right, Torres del Paine, as seen from ecocamp the next afternoon, after the clouds had started to lift and just as the sun was setting. The only two days of clear, sunny weather we had on our Patagonia trip were on the day of arrival and the day of departure.
