The future Asian Las VegasThe Venetian Macau. A bigger version of original Venetian in Las Vegas that tries to reproduce Venice channels and gondolas. Now it's Venice in Asia... Very weird... It is scheduled to open in 2007. 
 This reclaimed land joining Taipa and Coloane islands is called the Cotai Strip. In a couple of years this landscape will be totally different. It will probably be one of the world's biggest gambling paradises. The Venetian Macau is already under construction and is scheduled to open in 2007 but there will be more hotels and casinos.
