Dan Deacon "Woof Woof" Live @ DeLeon White Gallery, Toronto

Unbelievable - the participatory nature of Dan Deacon's shows is a well-known fact but even knowing this I had NO idea what I was in for. When "Woof Woof" (from the new album "Bromst") started, Dan ordered everyone to stop back and clear a dancefloor.

Two volunteers came up to start the dance party and after each did a jig, they were instructed to grab two new people from the crowd, and so forth until EVERYBODY WAS DANCING!

P.S.: It's foggy because we were in a tiny basement. That's the sweat of 200 hipsters - condensation, yo.
