Why I Find Him Interesting: Honestly, he just graduated from High School and he has done more in radio and with the environment than most people with a Broadcasting or Environmental Science degree.
Why Vegan: “I have always been in love with the environment and volunteered a bunch with Earthcorps. Thanks to Earth Corps I was introduced to a really chill and just plain awesome vegan named Chris LaPointe the Volunteer Coordinator for Earth Corps. I asked him some questions about his convictions and found nothing but sense." [Ed. note Chris happens to be one of my good friends and WILL be a future vegan of the week too!]
Spends Time:
- Volunteering with Inner City Outings leading Elementary and Middle School kids on environmental trips.
- Hosting a radio show called The Bassment on C89.5 Thursday nights 11pm - 2am.
- Turntable DJing (as Subdys), mixing Dubstep and DnB, and playing piano, violin, and guitar.
- Mentoring and supervising youth broadcasters.
- Long board snowboarding and playing soccer.
