Color Me Rad Virginia Beach took place at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex on May 6 and benefited the YMCA of South Hampton Roads.

The color started flying at 9 am with waves of runners getting plastered with "non-toxic, non-rash-inducing, Kroger branded, colored corn-starch" every 5 minutes after. Most people "ended up looking like a kindergarten art class gone wrong".

The run was a for fun event with participants being told to "Just try to finish before the sun goes down. We don’t even own a watch. At the finish line you’ll be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment and an endorphin induced high."
