We got a nice dusting of snow yesterday. Looking outside my new office window into the courtyard, it felt like I was in a snow globe.

Last Friday, we celebrated my grandma's 78th birthday.

We wanted to take her out somewhere nice, or cook dinner for her at home, but she had a craving for Jack Astor's nachos and brownies. And so, that's where we went, and we all had a blast.

Most residences in Malta have some kind of carving, engraving, or sculpture on their door of Jesus, Mary, or another biblical figure.

I took a few photos of them while I was there, but there were thousands; eventually I stopped taking photos and just admired each one as I walked by.
