The winning consortium

This is the winning consortium in the Linux.conf.au charity auction at the Penguin dinner. Their bid was $10,500 - the final total isn't known yet (bidding got complicated!) but was in excess of $25,000. One consequence is that Linus Torvalds will be shaving Bdale Garbee's beard and hair before the conference ends.

The money raised is to be donated to the research foundation attempting to find a cure for the Tasmanian Devil facial tumour disease, which threatens the devil with extinction in the next 20-25 years.
