2000 Anaheim Angels Matt Walbeck Game-Worn Road Jersey Back

Here's the backside of the Walbeck jersey. Bitchin' colors. Walbeck is an honorary Tiger (and thusly worthy of a jersey) for various reasons: He was a solid catcher who spent two stints with the Tigers. He immediately took a job with them as West Michigan's manager when he retired. He left the organization in winter of 2007 to join the Texas Rangers as a coach on their major league team, but I still have hopes he'll return to take Leyland's spot as manager someday. The first time Walbeck left the Tigers, it was in my most hated Tiger trade of all time: Randy ($#!$@#ing dumbass) Smith traded him to Anaheim ALONG WITH Phil Nevin for a AA pitcher (who never made it past AA, and never gave any indication prior to the trade that he ever would) named Nick Skuse. I hate Randy Smith soooo much.
