Don't apologize for HDR. Many of the historical greats of photography used multiple exposures to balance exposure across the piece. How is it different that the unnatural light from strobes, or "dodging and burning" with a wand in the darkroom. Or playing with chemicals and developing time

Agitation or no agitation. Depth of field play. Deliberate lens barrel distortion. Countless other tricks in film photography. HDR is either good or bad HDR, not disqualified altogether because of some purists imaginary ideological distinction. Rock on Valerio.
