The word panels- that seldom get their photographs here- are sewn onto ribbon. I recently broke my machine, so everything is hand-stitched, for now.

At least you have a studio! I had a nice section of space in our barn, but my husband and his brother started to restore a few old cars and took over ever square inch. I have to move carburetors and engine parts off of my bench anytime I want to go work. Needless to say, I am not a very happy girl these days!

You know, sometimes (or maybe even often than I'd love to admit? :P) my whole apartment is looking like this, as I'm working everywhere ;) I find things in my mess, but if I order them, I somehow forget, where I've put them. There must be something wrong with my brain *sigh*

I don't ever have everything REALLY put away, but... I try to avoid having the floor covered in scraps ( tends to hide sharp metally bits that then end up pocking me), and I try to have a large enough area of the desk cleaned off that I can work without pushing things aside.

I've been spending this week making things with my scraps, which will help clean things out, at least a bit.
