My dear friend,
CyberGus , BTW his birthday is today, caught this company stealing his photo:
www.volaris.com.mx/
this is the original
foto
Volaris is a travel company, with a fleet of I don't know how many airplanes for domestic flights in Mexico, this is a big company, but it seems that nobody is willing to respect copyrights when your work is on the net... Either in flickr or in his blog, he gives the option to anyone that wants to use their photos, to contact thim, but is easier to steal them...
Shame on Volaris!!!! They own planes and cant afford to buy a photo!!! This is ridiculous!!!!

No me

Sad, but true. Nobody cares... There's many
other discussions in flickr about the same
theme. Everybody, who has a problem with that
shouldn't add images to the net in any form -
if they are good (and the most are...), the
risk for robbery and other abuses(childs!)
is VERY HIGH.

@maldova: I know it's a risk, it doesn't mean
it's fare! not only in flickr, how about a
photographer's webpage? And the things with
children, well that's disgusting!!! and I'm
also trying to do something about it!!! I
think it can be done..... don't know how, but
hope it does...

the best ways to keep others from stealing
photos...
on flickr:
_ go to your account
_ edit the "who can download your
photos" to "only you"
in general:
_ before you upload a pic, make sure the
resolution is set as 72 ppi.
_ 72 is fine for viewing on a monitor, but
useless for printing.

@itadela:

Common error... Whatever you see on your
screen can be stolen (via simple print screen
to clipboard), so it's nearly useless to
"stop download" (as long, as I
don't wanna print the picture in a commercial
manner - at this point, you're right).
Sorry my friends, there's no really save
way!
@uva98: You're completely right! It is NOT
FAIR! So, If you detect somebody who steal
pictures, blame them! But (as I write in my
email to you in details) - it's impossible to
detect every fraud in the internet, so the
"stealers" are in better position
than we are.

raciocinio y cordialidad. Págala y úsala,
puedes, no?
Tu target tambien somos nosotros.
