Sex Offender Investigative Unit of Southern Ohio receives a Distinguished Group Award for 2010. The Southern District of Ohio (S/OH) Sex Offender Investigations Bureau (S/OH SOIB) is receiving a Distinguished Group Award for their efforts in assisting state and local jurisdictions in locating and apprehending sex offenders who violate sex offender registration requirements, and aggressively pushing for Federal prosecutions. During FY 2010, S/OH SOIB performed close to 1,500 compliance checks in 12 counties, and arrested 90 sex offenders who were non-compliant.

Receiving the award from Deputy Director Chris Dudley, Deputy Attorney General James Cole and Director Stacia Hylton are Nicole Ralston, Brian Hilsinger, Jeremy Rose, Daniel Deville, Jeff Balzer, and William Taylor.

The US Marshals Service Director's Awards are annually given to top performing deputies and administrative employees throughout the Service. The 2011 awards ceremony honoring the men and women who distinguished themselves in 2010 was held on May 18 in Arlington, Va.
