Lichens on lifeless moss covered bark of Oak stumps,
Leaning into waves of passing streams of small thoughts,
Swirling swishing hissing as rustle in leafy branches as noise,
Watched by all known insect sized new friends,
These are wishes and hopes of Mid-Summer spies.
Sheen of light caught by Nature’s Physics of Photons,
Now digitised in some dots and not dots in Microscopes,
Flat feet daring the balance in dance of Gravity pull,
Seen in magical Technicolour captured by pin-hole camera,
These are wishes and hopes of Mid-Summer spies.
Nesting material the twigs for flying creatures of fair skin,
Featherless now enslaved as Human forms to function,
Drudgery in Database stored caught moments of thoughts,
Known little are the deeds never to be actioned without comments,
These are wishes and hopes of Mid-Summer spies.
Under shades of Tall greenery are these red shades on lips,
Hidden behind a rose life in designed fabrics of Human Leather,
Without shame to bare with stunning wide embrace with results,
Cunning expression says it all as disguised is some hidden mischief,
These are wishes and hopes of Mid-Summer spies.
