Subjects like this always work well with wide angle. Nice one.

It's a great pic. I don't know why, but it reminds me of a Pink Floyd video.

I'm not that enamoured with this. somewhat sterotypical i'd say, but executed better than anything i could do.

      still.

You need to fix the framing/composition of this. It looks like you tried to center yourself, but centered yourself too much, except now you're a little off-center to the left, and... bleh now it's just annoying.

    20. Urban Disturbance (82 months ago | reply)

so sorry to have annoyed you...

    21. fredanibu (82 months ago | reply)

The Treezy seems to be the master of composition here?
I don't mind it being off center at all,
but I don't like the light here.

Pretty good, but not quite a save. Maybe if you were in a field of lotuses, on a stormy afternoon, with a bolt of lightning in the sky it would be a save ;)

Not interesting enough of a shot. Maybe if it was more like what forbes_jeff has envisioned.

OK. But there's a lot in what The Treezy said. I can't quite put my finger on it, but this one's not working for me at all.

Hope you bought lots of mead there to drown your sorrows.

This has 10 legitimate deletemes so I'm removing it from the DeleteMe pool.

You didn't make it into The Safe but I'm sure the rest of the group would love to see this photo in the U Got Me thread.

Great early shot with the new camera. The setting is very well captured. The subject's red shirt adds a central point of focus, split by the horizon, and the grass really gives the shot movement within the isolation. (321)
