i really like this shot, but i agree it would be more striking in b&w. also, this kind of shot always seems a bit removed, like it needs some sort of anchor to really give a sensation of height or flying.
wow, great pic, excellent compo! I'm really sorry about deleting it, but as many people said before it's too dark and I really miss a much more intense blue sky. I agree that you should give it a try in BW
I HATE BW. really. but in this particular case, because of the darkness of the figure, and the dull sky, I thought that you, poor photographer, could give it a try ;-)
I paid a tiny amount, but of course this wouldn't be my natural choice of holiday. I went because I wanted to try something different and I was offered the opportunity!
I actually love BW as you'll see if you have a look at my photostream...but for this shot it's a no-go. Unfortuntaley I do not have a polariser for my tele-lens, this would probably have made the sky slightly bluer, although I think the sky does not matter at all in this one...

a rather crappy Sigma 55-200. Still hav eit but nowadays almost always use my Nikkor 80-200 for this focal range...Sigma is much lighter though...
