A Day at the Dock - Annapolis, USA

A Day at the Dock - Annapolis, USA

Many locals come to Annapolis just to spend time sitting at the dock, feeding ducks or watching yachts trying to maneuver their way through “Ego Alley.” You can’t think about Annapolis without thinking about water… it’s a symbiotic relationship. The dock area is also home to the Alex Haley/Kunta Kinte memorial, as well as many shops and restaurants.

Going to the Chapel... - Annapolis, USA

Going to the Chapel... - Annapolis, USA

The Naval Academy Chapel is a stunning non-denominational location for numerous the “June Week” weddings of graduating midshipmen, as well as the architectural centerpiece of the academy grounds (aka “yard”). Under the chapel lies the crypt of John Paul Jones, a Revolutionary War Naval Officer who fought fearlessly for his adopted homeland, America.

Maryland’s Majestic State Capital - Annapolis, USA

Maryland’s Majestic State Capital - Annapolis, USA

Maryland’s State Capital, located in Annapolis, was also the first peacetime capital of the United States after the Revolutionary War. General George Washington resigned as Commander in Chief of the Continental Army here, and the Treaty of Paris ending the Revolutionary War was signed here. Our grand capital has been in continuous legislative use longer than any other state capital.
