Strange Bird

Leucistic chickadee. The shot is nothing special but I wanted to capture this bird away from the feeders. I have been watching this particular bird for a while now at my parent's feeders. It is interesting to have this bird near the feeders because it gives more insight into the habits of one particular bird. Obviously due to the "defect" it is easy to tell this chickadee from others. From a distance this bird looks more like a nutchatch.

Apparently it is quite a rare defect but not altogether unheard of.
