“Ollie, I’ve been here a week and I’m missing the forest in the far
North.” Professor Wise Owl sighed.
Ollie swooped down from a bookshelf, perched next to his friend, and said, “Well, I have your next visit all lined up and I think you’ll like it.”
With that the Professor flew out the Library’s sliding doors and took to the sky.
Soon he hovered over a place with an orange roof.
“Not another building,” Professor Wise Owl grumbled.
He zoomed down the hallway, in and out of empty classrooms until….
“Whoa…what a magnificent tree, just like the ones in the far North forest.” The Professor settled next to the tree and closed his yellow eyes, feeling right at home.
“I hope the next place is just as nice,” thought the Professor as he
took wing, soaring to his next stop.
“What’s this?” wondered the Professor. “Ollie seems to like buildings better than trees.” He flew inside and zipped past rooms, his wings brushing against chalkboards until he came to….. another magnificent tree!
“Oh, my, my, just look at that greenery!” marveled the Professor opening his eyes wide. “And, look, a cardinal painted right into the scenery!”
It’s time to go back to the Library and tell Ollie how much I liked this adventure!
