Always... taking over small businesses.

Jamie and I headed out to Palmyra to get some dinner and gawk at the city's amazing collection of car-swallowing sinkholes. There is a newly-opened Arby's near the hellish super-mart, Wal*Mart.

While it's probably my least favorite place on Earth, we stopped by the Wal*Mart so Jamie could pick up some cheap essentials. I staged my protests by waiting out in the car and pretending to be lost in the parking lot.

Nice reflection on the car roof. So Palmyra's the centre of the known (local) universe then, if it's got a WalMart? We don't even have Gap here in NZ. :)

I heard something about Michael Moore's next film being about WalMart. Should be fun. I still remember him from the film which touched on Columbine confronting some of their execs about stocking ammunition.

Now the malls are Wal*Marts.
There are too many shootings at the one in town. This Palmyra one is much safer.

Unfortunately it's still Wal*Mart.
