(hopefully) completed hardware for arduino monome clone

(hopefully) completed hardware for arduino monome clone by unsped.
this is slightly different than the schematic i posted as it uses a 164 and 165 shift register for button decoding and i am very happy with there performance. i chose the 164 and 165 to match the actual monome hardware.

those are indeed sparkfun buttons but with single color led's. my goal is to use off the shelf parts not from monome. i just wanted to use the same ic's the monome uses for completeness sake, even the arduino is an amtel .. but thats more coincidence.

all of the source code, schematics, templates for lasercutting the faceplate, pcb design if i get one made will be open source.

Any chance of publishing more info/images? I'm especially interested in the arduino code you used. I'm also curious as to how you ended up attaching the wires to the sparkfun pcb (i can't make it out on the pcb iage you posted), did you solder wires directly to the vias, or use some other way?

cbit, search for arduinome if you haven't already. similarly the monome forum has alot of info as well on the arduinome.

Thanks again for your work unsped, I've been following the arduinome developments and finished off my unit a while ago. www.flickr.com/photos/54829881@N00/2890082743 /
