Not too shabby

Anyone who lives in Chicago knows these buildings, which I assume were built in the early 1960s. Some outlying neighborhoods are full of them. This one is on Giddings just east of Leavitt, so it's among a lot of greystone 3-flats built right around or right after WW1. Usually these more utilitarian buildings are out of place, ugly and sad on a block full of buildings that would now be too expensive to build. This one looked pretty damn snappy to me though. It's got one mailbox so it's a single family. This got me to see these buildings in a new light. I'm guessing it's nice on the inside too.
