Dionysus Project 5-3-12

The inaugural performances of "The Dionysus Project: Addiction Takes Center Stage" were held in Manchester and Hazard on May 3, 2012. The innovative public health program was a collaboration between The Partnership at Drugfree.org, Outside The Wire, Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy and Operation UNITE. In both locations a dramatic readings from Euripides' Bacchae was followed by a town hall forum focusing on the impact substance abuse and addiction has on individuals, families and communities.
