9 inches!! Wow. I guess being a little further north make a pretty big difference. Madison is supposed to only get some rain. Well, and ice I suppose. Which is always fun.

I recently heard that some people put salt or pepper on their grapefruits! I shouldn't knock it since I haven't tried it, but this sounds crazy!! Has anyone else heard of this?

I do this every morning. One grapefruit. I love this time of year when the citrus is so fabulous. We're headed off to Palm Desert/Mojave in our little Airstream trailer and I'm looking forward to fresh off the tree citrus. I could live on it - no scurvey here!

goodness, that looks delicious. so glad you're getting a new blanket of snow today! i'm glad it will be nearly 50 here today. it looks dry and dreary without the snow, but I'm not complaining.

chocolate granola you say? hmmmmm.
I always use stephanie's recipe which I love, but I'm looking for something different. I don't know if I could do chocolate though. it sounds too much like dessert. or coco puffs:)

and it finally started snowing!!!!

oh no, i don't do the chocolate granola. that would be too much for me- maybe good for a dessert- sprinkled on some vanilla ice cream...

the recipe i use is this one.
