On Sunday, somewhat on a whim we decided to drive from Chicago to Grand Rapids. What followed was a long drive (sans ipod - though with the added bonus of Patrick's singing) through the outskirts of Gary, Indiana and a white knuckling lake effect snow storm. When we got to South Haven, Michigan we went to visit the lake and snap a few shots of the ice covered lighthouse pier. The winds were ferocious, and the lake was positively heaving.
This is a redux of my earlier shot of the snow covered beach in South Haven, Michigan from Sunday after being beautified by the talented Dave Teter.
Thanks Dave, it looks a million times better than the original.

I thought that looked like South Haven. Such a beautiful shot and such a beautiful city.
