The Age of Stupid / RSA

On Friday 22nd May the Royal of Society of Arts (RSA) held a live screening of Franny Armstrong's magnificent documentary film 'The Age of Stupid'. After the film Franny was joined in conversation by George Monbiot, Nicholas Stern (Stern Report) and Richard Betts at the MET Office.

The Age of Stupid is a film by Franny Armstrong, director of McLibel, and John Battsek, producer of One Day in September. The film is a drama-documentary-animation hybrid starring famed actor Pete Postlethwaite as an old man living in the devastated world of 2055, watching archive footage from 2008 and asking: why didn't we stop climate change when we had the chance?
