Dharmarajika Monastery, Orphange, & School in Dhaka

The Dharmarajika School in Dhaka, Bangladesh is one of the most tolerant and multicultural schools I have ever seen. Tribal students (not just Buddhists) who are extremely poor get FREE room, board, and tuition. The school also accepts Muslims, Buddhists, & Hindus as regular paying day students.

As part of my "Uncultured Project", I teamed up with the staff to help their hostel students - 15% are orphans and the remaining 85% are children from families too poor to support them.

Using donations, I was able to buy geometry sets, school uniforms, & course workbooks.
