Left in the Cold

This photo kills me. This was taken while I was on a boat in a river in the disaster area caused when Cyclone Sidr hit Banglaesh. I had come to the disaster area. That day I was giving away 30 blankets which I had bought.

We had selected 30 families with children. Some, like the kid on the right, was able to get one. Others, like the kid on the right, was left in the cold.

I've always had the problem where my heart is bigger than my hands. I forgot the faces of many of the kids who were able to get my blankets. But the faces of those who didn't seem to be burned into my mind.
