Hayes Carll at Jack's Off The Wall 9-9-06

Had a heck of a time at the Hayes Carll concert. It was at a swanky little place called Jack's Off The Wall. Kind of an uncomfortable name for a place. And I gotta say, the woman's restroom is nice at this joint... I really need to learn the difference between my right and my left... So I head off to the restroom and see a sign that says men's room left , girls right. So I go down the hall to the LEFT and there are two doors that are not labeled. One on the right and one on the left. I stand there for a second trying to decide which one is the mens and choose the one on the right, since I had already gone to the LEFT. As I go in the door another guy is coming down the hall behind me and follows me in. I see a stall on the right and turn to my left to look for the urinal and see another stall and think "That's weird there's no urinal in this place." So I go on in the open stall and proceed to take care of business while the other guy stands there waiting for somebody to come out of one of the stalls. I hear a flush and the other door open and a chick say "Oh, I must have gone in the wrong bathroom!?" and the guy just kind of says "Oh... um..." and laughs nervously. While I'm going I notice that the restrooms sure seem nice. No pee on the ground around the toilet or on the seat which was down. And then it dawns on me, I'm in the wrong damn bathroom. I'm in the ladies room! So I hurry up and finish, wash my hands and get out the door before somebody sees me in there. I come out and head back to the table to tell Wayne what happened and as I'm telling him, the guy that went in there behind me came around the corner with a big grin on his face cause he must have realized what we did. And it got better when the opening act/guy got up to play and it was the dude that followed me into the ladies room. :o)
Hayes always puts on a great show. Of course this was only the 3rd time to see him, but he's 3 for 3. Good Times.
