I am finally back.
I say *finally* because after Pipola's visit to the vet I had to bring Pipola's dad to the doctor because he was feeling very sick :(
Anyway, the human will be ok in a few days and as far as Pipola I have some interesting news:
#1 THE EARS
they have definately improved and they are getting better as days go by, I can finally stop torturing her day by day and the ear's check will take place once a week :)
#2 THE MYCOSIS
Though the fungus is still there, no side effects on the skin (which is pinky and healty, though without fur) were found. This means there is a superficial mycosis which is not causing any other kind of disease. Now I have to clean her skin and fur once a day with a specific product, and through a syringe give her itrafungol** once a day in a quantity specifically counted on her weight. This sounds so good to me because though it will take so long, we will come to and end.
#3 ME AND THE VET
I asked Pipola's vet to be the only one taking care of her health, I feel more safe and I don't want people to "study and try" on her. Pipola's health history is very complicated and she deserves years of experience and professionality. He understood my complains and the visit he did to my dear was great, he checked EVERYTHING and assured me she will get better, not fast, not soon, but surely.
To me all this is a blessing. I feel as if I renewed my energies and strength, I am also much more positive as I was used to be.
Here in Italy it's about the witching hour, there is a wonderful big bun playing with a big paper box and there's a sweetest little hamster running on his plastic wheel. I feel as if my family escaped from a labyrinth, I feel better though still a bit worried, I feel happy though tired.
Thank you for the sweetness, the caring words, the presence, the friendship, the suggestions, the ideas, the courage, the love... thank you with all my heart and soul.
