This photo appeared in the Centennial issue of UMW TODAY magazine, Winter 2008, Vol. 32, No. 1, with an article about UMW's digital archive.
In response, Frances Watts Barker '45 wrote, "In the winter issue...it was interesting to see the 1943 College Shoppe picture. Did you recognize three of our classmates: Jinny Gunn Blanton, Lillie Macheras and Hildy Parks Cohen? What fond memories we have of the C-Shoppe and the Honakers who were long-time managers."
Frances Watts Barker, of Parksley, Va., writes and compiles the Class Notes submission to the magazine from the class of 1945. The quote, above, is from her submission to the summer 2008 magazine.
Of the women Mrs. Barker named, does anyone know which is which?
