This artificial vagina is actually the world first pollution free bicycle taxi which represent female genitalia. You can climb into it and ride the bike... Why? Artist (on the left) dislikes the current worldview which is filled with phallic symbols (think of Braveheart for example).

"No on se", hämmästelivät nuoret naiset Kampin keskuksen vierustalla.

Vanhempi mies kyseli voisiko työtä koskea ja keski-ikäinen nainen peitti silmänsä käsillään. Hetken päästä hän kuitenkin palasi nappaamaan teoksesta kuvan kännykkäkamerallaan.

Taiteilija ei ollut lopputyönsä kanssa retkellä ensimmäistä kertaa, vaan kertoi tekevänsä sen kanssa kävelyitä pitkin kaupunkia kolmesti viikossa.

Pale on hämmästyttänyt ohikulkijoita Helsingissä aikaisemminkin. Talvella 2003 hän ryömi Sörnäisissä ulos monimetrisestä, valaistusta täytekakusta mummoksi pukeutuneena.

Kuvataideakatemian lopputyönäyttely 3. kesäkuuta asti Tennispalatsissa. Mimosa Pale esittelee työtään yleisölle 2. kesäkuuta kello 15.
